Throughout my education, I have taken a strong interest in understanding the systems we live under and how people can engage with them to influence change. I have learned from and worked alongside experienced individuals, developing my understanding of how local issues can be directed toward practical and effective solutions.
In 2023, the loss of my brother to suicide changed my path in politics from theoretical interest to practical action. It reinforced my belief that communities need compassionate voices willing to stand up for them and help people navigate the systems that affect their lives.
Although I am not currently an elected representative, I have worked as an active and trusted member of the community. Residents regularly contact me about local issues, and I work with resident groups and organisations to gather information, support their concerns, and help get them to the right direction.
I often act as a liaison between residents and local councils, helping people access the right information, contacts, or services to resolve problems they may be facing.
Compassion, honesty and empathy are at the heart of everything I do. I want to bring these values into public service, advocating for our community and working to provide hope, clarity, and opportunity so that our area can continue to grow stronger.
