Cllr Mrs Sandy Ellis & Cllr Sujan Wickremaratchi visited the Biffa Mechanical & Biological treatment plant at Horsham recently.
Cllrs Sandy & Sujan commented:
"it’s amazing to see how household waste is processed and how this cutting-edge plant is reducing
the amount of waste that would of gone to landfill.
The Biffa plant has the combination of sorting and treatment facilities, along with the recycling of the biodegradable materials which are then used to go on and generate electricity"
