Candidate for Haywards Heath Town (WSCC)

I was born in Sri Lanka and came to the UK in 1979, where I built my life, raised my family, and made Haywards Heath my home for more than 40 years. My professional background is in IT, having worked for leading companies including Citibank, Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent, before going on to start my own business in 1996.

I joined the Conservative Party in 2009 and was elected to Haywards Heath Town Council in 2012, followed by West Sussex County Council in 2013. I was proud to serve as Mayor of Haywards Heath from 2015 to 2017, supporting local charities and community causes, and later as Vice Chairman of West Sussex County Council from 2020 to 2023.

Over the years, I have served on Children’s Services, Planning and Adult Services, always guided by one simple belief: to serve the people who elected me well.

New Clear Signs at the Broadway and Heath Road Junction

WSCC Sujan Wickremaratchi helped to get new lines painted on the Broadway and Heath Road Junction. To help Cllr Sandy Ellis and her campaign team new lines were painted to stop congestion on this road at peak times. This has helped to keep the traffic flowing.
