The Rt Hon Michael Fallon MP, Minister of State for Business and Enterprise, at Nicholas Soames’s invitation came to address a large gathering of businessmen and women from across Mid Sussex at a lunch held at the Talbot Inn in Cuckfield on Friday, 1st February.
Michael Fallon MP applauded the spirit of enterprise and business in Mid Sussex and said how exciting it was to meet so many representatives of so many successful companies from the area.
He spoke of his determination to push on with de-regulation and for the Government to continue to promote areas of growth and economic competence which will continue to improve Britain’s financial position.
Nicholas Soames, Mid Sussex MP, said; “This was a tremendous gathering of Mid Sussex businesses and I am very grateful to the Minister for coming to meet with so many of them and for making such an encouraging speech. We are lucky to live in such a successful area with near full employment and the businessmen and women were very taken with what Mr Fallon had to say.”
