Nicholas Soames with Mayor Sujan Wickremaratchi starting the Greater Haywards Heath Bike Ride on Sunday 31st May.

Nicholas said "This is a truly fantastic and brilliantly supported event."

The ride had a variety of different routes, from the family-friendly The Sergison, at 12.4 miles, all the way up to the Wiggins Way Black Route, at 73.5 miles.

The whole event aimed to raise funds for charity; either through charities organising sponsored teams or through the donation of race proceeds to the organisers' charity. This year, the event raised money for local people living with Dementia, through donations to both the Redwood Centre and the Princess Royal Hospital.

You can view photographs of the event here.
