Jacquie is currently progressing an application for double yellow lines at the junction of Tanyard Avenue and to deal with the parking issue at the Hammer Head at the top of the avenue by putting more double yellow lines in. This is awaiting moderation, support is there but outcome to be decided in due course.
She has put an application for an upgraded school crossing and traffic calming measures in Dunnings Rd for the Meads School and the wider pedestrian community particularly given the Town Council are in the process of purchasing St. Barnabas Church to turn it into a community centre.
She has put in a scheme to provide a safer crossing point for Forest Way users across Herontye Drive
And also a scheme to upgrade the crossing point in De La Warr Rd
She has just received approval for the 20mph roundels which will be put in Christopher Rd and De La Warr Rd - the date for this work has yet to be decided - but will be added once known
