Commenting on the Home Secretary's speech Nicholas Soames said; “It is clear that the Government is making real progress in dealing with this very difficult problem. Frank Field MP and I have been driving this agenda through our Co-Chairmanship of the Cross-Party Group on Balanced Migration. We met with the Minister of State for Immigration earlier this month and there is real evidence of success.”
