Nicholas Soames said; “European Mainstream today welcomes the announcement that a draft Referendum Bill will be published. The Prime Minister made a commitment to a referendum at Bloomberg in January, and he is now taking an important step in paving the way for that referendum in 2017. “This draft legislation also offers the Labour Party and the Liberal Democrats an historic opportunity to support giving the public the final say in our relationship with Europe. We hope that they follow our lead in giving the people an in/out option. “We will be supporting this Bill when it is introduced in Parliament and look forward to making the case for the positive reforms within Europe that will justify a yes vote in 2017.”
